Become a Blacksmith for the day.

Must be 18 years and over, course costs £125 for the day, half day taster session £70.

Learn the key basic techniques that are the foundation to blacksmiths work.

After a demonstration it will be your turn to have a go under supervision. you can expect to take home at least three hand forged items made by yourself. 

What to wear,

You will be provided with an apron, safety glasses and gloves. Wear old clothes you don't mind getting dirty or damaged, clothes should be of natural fibers, cotton/denim and trousers must be full length and long sleeves, you are required to wear sensible footwear, non steel toe caps are worn at your own risk.

Dates can be arranged both week days and weekends except Tuesdays.

9 am to 4 pm with a break for lunch, you can bring a packed lunch or there is a cafe on site.
